Q: Will I be visited by one of the sponsors?
A: All entrants must be available for interview by the sponsor. Individual sponsors will decide whether to visit after you have completed the more detailed form which will be sent to you following your initial entry. If the decide to visit, they will make an appointment to attend your company office.
 
Q: How can I get tickets for the dinner?
A: You can purchase tickets for the dinner by contacting Jane Reeve (jreeve@darbys.co.uk). Tickets are available to buy NOW at the cost of £70 + VAT per ticket and tables can be purchased as tables of 10.
 
Q: If I buy tickets and then find that we are not shortlisted, can I get a refund?
A: Should your company not be shortlisted and you do not want to attend, a full refund will be given. You must ensure that you notify Jane Reeve (jreeve@darbys.co.uk) of your decision to not attend by no later than Friday 25 May 2011. After this date no refund will be issued. If your company is shortlisted, you will receive two free tickets.
 
Q: I cannot seem to get the application form to send?
A: If you are experiencing problems when submitting your entry form, please do not hesitate to contact Jane Reeve (jreeve@darbys.co.uk) who will be able to assist you. You will receive an acknowledgment when your entry has been received. If this message has not been received, please contact Jane. If you wish to forward the necessary details of your entry we can enter your company for you on your behalf.
 
Q: When will I know if I have been successful?
A: The Judging Meeting takes place on Wednesday 2nd May 2012. All entrants will be notified in writing as to whether they are shortlisted or have been unsuccessful by early May 2012. For the avoidance of doubt, only the top three in each category are shortlisted. The winner from each category will be announced from those three at the Awards Dinner. The winner will receive a trophy whilst the runners up will receive certificates.
 
Q: I have entered two categories, will I be visited twice?
A: It is possible that you will be visited twice should you have entered for two categories as the criteria is so different for each Award. However it may be that the two sponsors organise to visit you together or separately; whichever is suitable to all parties.
 
Q: I am unsure if I fit the criteria for a particular Award?
A: If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact the Sponsor Contact, details of which can be found on the Sponsors page. They will be more than happy to discuss with you the criteria that they are expecting you to fit for the particular Award.
 
Q: Can Partners or Directors in a firm apply for one of the two individual Awards?
A: Yes, but one application must be made for each individual.
 
Q: How much information will the Judges require?
A: This will very much depend upon the category you have entered. Judges may require business plans which should contain financials along with any other promotional material.
 
Q: If I do become a winner / finalist of an Award, can I use the Oxfordshire Business Awards Logo
A: Should you be shortlisted to the final three, in your category, you will be able to use the Oxfordshire Business Awards logo on all promotional material that your company may have. There are certain terms for using the logo on your website and for a version of these terms please contact Jane Reeve (jreeve@darbys.co.uk).
 
Q: How do I purchase photos from the night of the Awards Dinner?
A: If your company is interested in purchasing any of the photos taken on the evening of the Awards Dinner for PR, Marketing and ongoing promotional use please contact the studio on 01865 842525 or email info@studio-8.co.uk. Studio 8 can provide a weblink or CD containing high res and web versions of your photos.
