Will I be visited by one of the sponsors?

All entrants must be available for interview by the sponsor. Individual sponsors will decide whether to visit after you have completed the more detailed form which will be sent to you following your initial entry. If they decide to visit, they will make an appointment to attend your company office.

How can I get tickets for the dinner?

Tickets to attend the Oxfordshire Business Awards Dinner will be available to purchase as and when finalists are announced on Wednesday 2 May 2018. Ticket prices are £110 per ticket / £1,100 per table of 10 plus VAT.

I cannot seem to get the second stage application form to upload or send?

If you are experiencing problems when submitting your completed second stage application form, please do not hesitate to contact Jane Reeve who will be able to assist you.

Is there a word count limit when completing the second stage application form?

Yes, the word count limit is 1000 characters with spaces per question, which equates roughly to 140 words.

If I buy tickets and then find that we are not shortlisted, can I get a refund?

Should your company not be shortlisted and you do not want to attend the Dinner, a full refund will be given. You must ensure that you notify Jane Reeve of your decision to not attend by the end of May 2018. After this date no refund will be issued. If your company is shortlisted, you will receive two free tickets.

When will I know if I have been successful?

The Judging Meeting will take place on Wednesday 2 May 2018. All finalists will be notified by close of play on Wednesday 2 May.  Those entrants who have not been successful will be notified in writing by email by close of play on Friday 4 May 2018. For the avoidance of doubt, only the top three in each category are shortlisted. The winner from each category will be announced from those three at the Awards Dinner on Friday 15 June 2018. 

I am unsure if I fit the criteria for a particular Award?

If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact the Sponsor Contact direct, details of which can be found on the Sponsors page. They will be more than happy to discuss with you the criteria that they are expecting you to fit for the particular Award.

Can Partners or Directors in a firm apply for one of the two individual Awards?

Yes, but one application must be made for each individual.

How much information will the Judges require?

This will very much depend upon the Award category you have entered. Judges may require business plans which should contain financials along with any other promotional material.

If I do become a winner / finalist of an Award, can I use the Oxfordshire Business Awards Logo?

Should you be shortlisted to the final three, in your Award category, you will be able to use the Oxfordshire Business Awards logo on all promotional material that your company may have.
