Any organisation (including Public Sector, Education, etc.) located within the county of Oxfordshire, who have local management autonomy, may enter.

1. Sponsors of the Oxfordshire Business Awards are not eligible to enter.

2. Any entrant may enter a maximum of two of the Business Sector Awards and one of the Individual Awards.

3. Entries must be completed and received by no later than midnight on Friday 20 February 2026. There will not be a second stage application form for you to complete. However, it may well be the case that upon receipt of your entry, the Award category sponsor will be in touch with a supplemental document which they will require you to complete. This specifically applies to both the Young Business Person of the Year and Business Person of the Year award categories.

4. Entrants must agree to be interviewed by an Award Sponsor. this will most likely be completed in person however in situations where an in person meeting is unable to take place, there is an option to conduct the interview online.

5. The selection of finalists will take place at the Judging Meeting on Wednesday 29 April 2026. Finalists will be notified if they have been shortlisted the same day and by no later than close of business on Thursday 30 April 2026. If you have not been shortlisted, you will be notified the following week by email.

6. Finalists must be prepared to make themselves available for filming during the week during the month of May 2026. Finalists will be filmed at a studio space (yet to be confirmed). Finalists will be required to travel and be represented by a no more than two representatives.

7. Finalists must agree to take part in publicity leading up to and following the Awards Dinner and must agree to attend the Awards Dinner on Friday 12 June 2026. Two complimentary tickets will be given to finalists with the ability to purchase more tickets up to a maximum 10 tickets per organisation. Once final numbers have been confirmed with the catering team at Oxford Brookes University on Friday 22 May 2026, the OXBA will not be able to issue a refund for tickets no longer required.

8. All shortlisted finalists of the 2026 Awards will automatically be considered for the Business of the Year Award.

9. A list of winners can be obtained after Monday 15 June 2026 at www.oxfordshirebusinessawards.co.uk.

10. All entrants will be notified by email that their entry has been received.

11. The Judging Panel’s decision is final. Feedback will not be provided.
